If your email open rates are down in the dumps, you’re probably not getting many clicks.
No clicks, no sales.
No sales, well… bummer.
What to do?
Well, there’s an easy way to fix all that…
If you like high email open rates, you’ll love this little hack.
It’s the old “emoji-in-the-subject-line” trick.
You may have seen those little images in subject lines.
Those cute little icons aim to catch your eye, and arouse your curiosity…
And cause you to open the email to see what other little goodies you might find in there.
And you want a high open rate for your emails, right?
Okay, let’s get down to the how-to:
Hie thee yonder unto ye olde Unicode Chart.
There you’ll find a heavenly abundance of emojis to choose from.
Now you’re ready for…
Scroll over that cute little smiley face (or unicorn, or whatever you picked…) until it’s highlighted.
Then copy it, thusly:
(Sorry for the low res pic —You’ll get the idea…)
Now hie thy little fanny on over to Cylog.org, where you’ll now be ready for…
Notice the empty white box.
Click inside the box and paste thy little image.
Now hit (or preferably just click or tap) the “Submit” button.
See that little code below ye aforementioned empty white box?
Copy that string of code and you’re ready for…
Paste that li’l bugger into your email subject line and send that email to yourself.
Voilà! (That’s French for “Yippee!”)
Do you see your beloved little emoji in the subject line?
That’s all there is to it pardner.
Now git out there and try it out on your list…
And let me know how it works out for you — I long to hear of your higher email open rates, click-through rates and, above all, sales closing rates!
Thanks to my good friend Daniel Bussius for showing how it’s done on his blog!
