Mike Connolly and Bull at GKIC Growth Summit 2019

Did you miss the GKIC Growth Summit 2019?

If so, you’ll want to check out the following three takeaways. They were inspired by a conversation with a great information marketer named Robert Skrob, known as a retention expert. It’s based on what he told me about his experience, which was working extremely well for him. It’s something he learned from Dan Kennedy, and I’ll give it to you in three points.Number one, get known for one big thing to your ideal prospects and clients. In Robert’s case, because he’s known as a retention expert, helping companies solve the problem of “churn”, which means customers leaving their membership.Number two, write a book.In Robert’s case, his solution was to write a book that solves a big problem that his target client has.His book focused on the problem of retention, which is a big problem for the companies he’s identified as his ideal clients.

In the book, he shows how that’s a big problem and how to solve it.

And then finally, number three is target the right audience.Again, in Robert’s case, he’s targeting companies that are in the a hundred million dollar plus range, and that focus is an enormous part of the success that he’s experienced.

>> If you want to be paid well as a freelance copywriter, check out these 3 tips from Dan Kennedy. <<

These strategies can work for you just as well as they’re working for Robert. They comprise a marketing strategy any smart marketer should consider. So that’s what I wanted to share with your real quickly from the GKIC Growth Summit 2019.

Recapping then:Numero Uno, get known for solving a big problem your ideal client has.Numero Dos, write a book that is in essence, is your sales letter and lead magnet.Numero Tres, target the right audience.

Here’s the video from which the above tips were transcribed and edited:
